lol Gez, I don't know how I ended up making a duplicate lump in the Zandronum version's PK3 by accident :D

And just to show off super early 1.5 implementation, what I am waiting is for Gifty to smoothify the firing and pain animations, which might be a couple months from now:



Also, I forgot to mention this about 1.2: Any feedback will be greatly appreciated as I poke around on 1.5. :)

Sorry if this has already been explained or implemented in the other, but is this compatable with smooth doom? Particularly the psx version of smooth doom?

Yes is is in compatible as it changes nearly every monster actor there is. On top of that, it uses some Smooth Doom animations too. No need to use both due to conflicting actors.

Not many updates other than some changes to the credits page with new people who have tested/played some multiplayer with me (IE DoomGeek101). If I can get some idle anims like 1.2's but with the Romero Rotations, that would be awesome, which I posted the request in the Resources page a couple of weeks ago.

Also considering taking some new screenshots of 1.2 and 1.5.

Not much has changed since my post from last week as I'm not sure what I can add to the mod without it becoming bloated from feature creep like a certain other mod has over time.

If anybody wants to contribute death sprites that have not been used, by all means go for it. Another thing is I have no idea how to process all the cacodemon sprites so they are more of their original color as opposed to their "Brutal Tomato" coloration I've gotten used to.

There's a handful of changes, listed below:

1.5 (WIPPish)
-Added GAMEINFO lump to show mod version when loading.
-Removed VERSION lump, redundant when using GAMEINFO edit instead.
-Added in-game credits pages.
-Implementation of full 8 sided walking, shooting and pain rotations for zombieman and sergeant. Thank you John Romero!
-Full pain rotations for SS Nazi.
-Brand new voiceover and weapon sound for SS Nazis.
-Reimplemented original Cacodemon death courtesy of PSTrooper.
-Additional dead marine sprites from unused assets dump by Romero.

I am strongly considering releasing 1.5 as is due to the lack of anything else I can use to add to the mod. What do you all say?

Sure, I'm not really sure what you could add either, unless you're able to find more decoration replacements or start adding gorier deaths, but then you're getting into BD territory.

I'm staying with the more reasonable and deaths that aren't overkill (IE the zombies and imp deaths) and I don't want to become what I recently denounced earlier this month.

I'm wondering, if there would be actor duplicates (by playing with smooth DOOM) would that cause a fatal error, or would the wad still be playable?

It shouldn't cause a fatal error, but it wouldn't work. Not the way you want it to, anyway. Whichever you load last will take effect, so you'd either have smooth doom monsters or monsters with multiple death states. I believe Glaice is using some frames from Smooth Doom anyway.
