Answer: "Enhancement mod for 3DGE. Sort of like Brutal DOOM but less exaggerated and cluttered. This mod aims to add spit and polish while leaving the core gameplay and balance intact."

Updated again (04/27). A good mod is never finished, it is abandoned.

* Knuckle crack animation (a la DUKE NUKEM 3D) upon start of a game
* Knuckle crack used as a random idle animation for the fists
* New weapon: The MP40, dropped by the SS Nazi. It's less accurate and not as powerful as the Chaingun
* Lamp Amp Visor replaced with Night-Vision. I like it better because it won't strip DOOM of its dark and foreboding atmosphere.
If anything, it'll only enhance the atmosphere and tension. Includes HUD graphic for when it's active and new pickup sprites.
* Minor adjustments to the HUD
* Removed even more unused and left-over resources from the PWAD
* Idle animation for the pistol
* New sprite replacing the box of rockets
* The Super Shotgun is no longer accessible in DOOM 1 levels. The same thing goes for the MP40.
* More detailed and convincing flames for the black candle and candelabra
* New enemy: The dog. It's just there for Boom/MBF compatibility, thing number 888. Includes attack and pain frames with rotation.
* Monsters now have their respective EDGE stealth counterpart, thing number 4050 through 4061.
* Some new sound effects for the Chainsaw.

Nice mod, but... how its possible to play at 60 FPS?

It's not.

Pay someone a lot of money to uncap the framerate because I will not do it. This is getting overly repetitive. What's wrong with playing it at 35FPS? Can you not process any framerate below 60 or something?

@CeeJay: you'd be delighted to know that I've added two more ACTION buttons and plan on adding up to 6. I'm releasing the alpha of 1.37A next week with LOTS of changes to the code but those two action buttons will be usable right away.

Nice updates, by the way. Quickly becoming my favorite enhancement mod.

Because playing at 35 FPS seems feels like my PC is broken. Anyway, i understand there is a war on that topic, i do not want to participate.

* Some new sound effects. Again.
* New sprite replacements for some items
* Some minor code changes here and there, overall improvements and fixed glitches
* Guns smoking! But I will not do spent casings, I don't like the effect and it just causes screen clutter

As soon as I get to a computer I'm gonna download the hell out of this. The screen shot with the flying head sealed the deal.
If you need any help id like to get my feet wet on this one.
And just for the record...spent shells rock haha. So does particle blood.

Also is this still edge only?

Enjoy. It's pretty much a one-man job and has been since the start and besides it's finished, say for occasional updates and fixes. However if you really would like to lend a hand for something there is another project on the side... PM me if you are interested.
