Yep! Just have one more death animation to do for him and he'll be ready for the next update.
Re: Smooth Doom (NOW HAS A THEME SONG!)
Don't wanna sound impatient, but any ETA on the update?
Could you add an option to mute the bullet-casing sounds? I love the visual effects, but I hate the sound effects.
Re: Smooth Doom (NOW HAS A THEME SONG!)
That's exactly what he's gonna do. He said that in his post detailing his new plan for the weapons.Gorec wrote:maybe u should make 2 separate mods one has doom weps and other 64 weps
Re: Smooth Doom (NOW HAS A THEME SONG!)
They'll all be in the one Smooth Doom file the way they always have been, but instead of toggling the individual weapons it'll just be complete sets.

@Lavender Moon
(and for anyone else interested) I also made a pk3 that uses the bullet and shell casing sounds from Shadow Warrior, you may find it more fitting to doom's level of quality

Re: Smooth Doom (NOW HAS A THEME SONG!)
That's cool, I was thinking of including a bitrate toggle for the casing sounds for people who wanted a more retro sound.

Gifty. Can you make SSG's animation of reloading more smoother?

Re: Smooth Doom (NOW HAS A THEME SONG!)
So, what process do you do to make the frames in between? Do you have any shortcuts, or do you simply do it all by eye and hand?
Re: Smooth Doom (NOW HAS A THEME SONG!)
it's all done as I go mainly c:
I pretty much only have to make sure frames are offset properly, other than that it's a simple of matter of tic editing. not hard at all to do really, just kinda tedious

Re: Smooth Doom (NOW HAS A THEME SONG!)
Simple- do the same thing you did for the Rifle zombiemen. Say, create a "StepZombieman" (and by extension a "RifleStepZombieman") that creates footstep actors during its See state. Alternatively, you could have the existing actor go into a "SeeStep" state where it produces footstep actors while chasing the player. Hook everything up to an ACS toggle and I think it'd be good.Gifty wrote:I like footsteps, but I can't think of any good way of making them optional. That's the main thing holding me back.
