Never before have I played a mod where firing a single shot managed to create a path of destruction through CLOSED doors and clear half a level before I even move. Also, play this with dynamic lighting for maximum quality.

A_Fade actually lags more than this would. I could put +NOINTERACTION and +NOBLOCKMAP on it, though.

You would only need +NOINTERACTION, as it implies +NOBLOCKMAP. However, you also don't want +NOINTERACTION as this will remove interaction against most (all?) map geometry as well.

Instead of A_Fade, you could replace the -1 duration of the last state by something like 350. Disappears after 10 seconds, no extra processing power required.
