Wait, I'm confused then. Is there a build 1.7e? The thread's title was changed to that like the mod has been updated, but all I see is the old 1.7a still.

Because its in beta testing it will be available in a weeks time. Or do you want an untested buggy mess?

No no, by all means, take your time. I was just confused because there is/was no mention of a beta in testing prior to this. Quite the contrary was actually suggested by your last post...

...which left me wondering if 1.8a is the next release before 1.8e and 1.7a is the only available download, then what and where is this mysterious and magical 1.7e mentioned in the title? I take it that the next public release is not 1.8a then, it is 1.7e? Either one is great news to me man so please don't take anything the wrong way here. I'll happily wait as long as it takes. I just was trying to get some clarification on some seemingly contradictory statements that left my very tiny brain very very befuddled.

Lol, no worries man. I was just legit confused. I know developers get hassled all the time for releases and I really didn't want you to think that's what I was doing. Its all good. Those muzzle flashes look pretty nice too. I didn't mind the old ones honestly, but the new ones are certainly high quality. It's good to see you back here to. Glad things are going better for you and that the mod is back in development again. Thank you for your efforts man. One of the better randomizers out there, in my opinion.

I've changed far too much between 1.8a and 1.8b to remember every little thing, but the gist of it is:

Code: Select all

- Fixed The Tormentor, Devastator, and Longinus gibbing lesser foes with normal
  bullets.
- New Visuals for the Archangel
- New Visuals for the Tormentor
- New Visuals for the Storm
- New Visuals for the Devastator
- Magazine Cap increase for the Archangel 15 > 20
- Magazine Cap increase for the Omen 64 > 100 (getting nerfed to 80 in 1.8c)
- Magazine Cap increase for the Typhoon 720 > 1080
- Three new guns, they are graphically present but need fine tuning and coding:
----
- 1. Venom Gun
- 2. Mauler Launcher
- 3. Longbow DMR
----

Finally I tryed this mod. It's insane! I love it and the weapons are very satifying to use.
It will be perfect if you add single tap "shift" button to dash instead double tap. We need to prepare for Doom Eternal, right?
Excellent work

Download : Get Mk.2 Build 1.8c on ModDB

Code: Select all

-Changelog as of 1.8c :

- Added Mauler 30mm Heavy Assault Cannon.
- Added Boneduster Quad Barrel Shotgun (No. not the one from Bulletstorm)
- New streamlined Dual Tone graphic for the Devastator.
- The Typhoon Overheats now.
- Got rid of the Celldweller Music loops in the titlemap, saving some 10mb in filesize.
- TiberiumSouls are now friendly helpers that annoy and harass the monsters.
- Made TiberiumSoul's hostile to the player again.

Hey, absolutely stunning mod, but I've come into one issue with the 1.8c when I run it in zdoom. It errors out, saying "Script error, "ts_ir_mk.2_b1.8c_b.pk3:actors/dec_pwup" line 38:
Invalid state parameter {", a problem only present on 1.8c as I am able to run 1.8b without a hitch.
