Re: [Update] The Guncaster - 3.0 preview
GZDoom got updated to 3.3.0, which might delay things a bit!

Why would it delay anything?AvzinElkein wrote:GZDoom got updated to 3.3.0, which might delay things a bit!

I'd ask the same question. Cause I don't remember saying anything like that, be it in public or to development crew. Hell, I didn't even test it with newest gzdoom yet.

Also since I forgot to answer these concerns:
In the trailer I showcase toaster mode/gore limiter and whatnot. Won't go any further than that.TheNightATK300 wrote:Heh. So when we'll have to optimize the effects of the mod because THE EFFECTS ARE TOO HECKKING FORTH-WALL BREAKING TO BREAK MY COMPUTER IRL (not really)
Normal strife. I somewhat tested it on veteran edition. It should work, just most likely won't support or miss the stuff they added there.Tesculpture wrote:Question; When you say Strife compatibility, do you mean Strife Veteran Edition, or just normal Strife?

Quick question.
In the video, I have seen that the ironblast Stratocaster sprite has been replaced with a voxel model. Will the reload animation still be animated like in the sprite version?

The pumping/magazine are animated, but I can't rotate a voxel in-game. And doing so manually would end up with ugly results anyway and it's not worth the effort. Can always get back to sprites by deactivating voxels, if that's gonna be a problem.

Re: [Update] The Guncaster - 3.0 preview
Oh wow, decided to randomly check up on the thread, and hyped to see a new update incoming!
Everything looks amazing as usual, from the new Railgun looking weapon (love the cycle anim!), the foot stomp, new shopkeep (definitely keep the voice acting in) to the new HUD for the suit (Even a new animated damage portrait!)
Can't wait to get my hands on it and play it to death!

Now that April Fools is done and I remembered this question...
I've been meaning to ask, what's the best application for the Pulverizer's Stratocaster? As in, what kind of special effects and stuff make it worth it to use it?

Well, if the ball is big enough, it'll rip through enemies and bounce off of walls.
Also, it fires bullets in random directions. It rolls along the ground and deals quite a bit more damage than the 5 bullets needed to make it initially, if you decided to do a minimally-charged ball.

I had fun clearing crowds with that.

Re: [Update] The Guncaster - 3.0 preview
Just a query, is this compatable with Random Deaths and Decorations v.16? Both 2.8 and 3.0?
Re: [Update] The Guncaster - 3.0 preview
Both mods alter the enemies, so no.RMD00 wrote:Just a query, is this compatable with Random Deaths and Decorations v.16? Both 2.8 and 3.0?

Alright! Kinda figured seeing as GC has certain coding that would conflict with RDND.affandede wrote:Both mods alter the enemies, so no.RMD00 wrote:Just a query, is this compatable with Random Deaths and Decorations v.16? Both 2.8 and 3.0?
