Another test version, this time with the Z86 BFG and the new Plasmagun code:

Download 2nd test version (Z86 BFG, Blox Plasmagun code)

BFG looks good, but somehow I am missing the recoil of the whole weapon. Maybe someone manages to combine this with the unused frame BFGGC that comes with the Doom wads?

I don't mind the Plasmagun firing 2 rounds per burst with the new code as long as it looks cool. And it surely does. :)

please, please, PLEASE don't use RapidShare, I have many problems with that site, and most of the time, the download button refuses to work.
Try a site like mediafire, dropbox, sendspace or attach it to your post.

If you like that. :) Here is everything again, with slightly renamed actors in DECORATE to reflect who did what. This time with normal gloves and black gloves version.

In case no one badly needs the BFG itself having recoil, this might already be it (we would need Doomsday/Eternity def updates then, though).

Oi, nope. I have some more tweaks.
Spoiler: SSG New/Old
Spoiler: Shotgun New/Old
Also, the plasmarifle wasn't perfectly centered. ((+2,0) Offset to the first two, (+4,0) to the last two.)
Basically, grab this and replace the existing sprites. Because I worked on the version before the black gloves came. p:

Okay, I tried it and it's perfect except for one thing:
The chaingun offsets seem weird, as in it moves around a bit while you fire.

oh and, I love the new anim for the shotgun, no more [censored word] stretched hand sticking out.

If you modify the Plasmagun position, you also have to change it for the standard holding frame, otherwise it will shift to the left slightly once you fire it. :)

Below you find new test versions will all of Blox' fixes above (modded shotgun/super shotgun frames and Plasmagun centering), including fixed Plasmagun holding positions.

In case someone wants a weirdo PK3 packaged one, here you go.

Pretty sure I'm just [censored word], but I removed the non ZDoom definitions from it.
Oh, and that IDgames text file is both in the .zip and pk3 now.

Well, by now any non-ZDoom ports won't work with this, anyway. Too much has been changed. :D Maybe esselfortium and phi108 can make the necessary adjustments for the DD/Eternity defs eventually.

Here is a new muzzle flash for the shotgun that I think should be added. It has the the same barrel tip yellow glow like the vanilla super shotgun. But the actual muzzle flash is colored different to vanilla so probably needs some work to match. It's from "polished skull" by minigunner
