These shotgun muzzleflash frames have been adapted to the original flash color and integrated into the mod. :) Download links in the first post have been updated (now uploaded via board, not Rapidshare any more). I have also removed Doomsday/Eternity defs for now since they are useless. Hopefully, they can be re-added at some later point.

Since that was presented, I may as well show my first two interpolated shotgun frames:

Looks like a compromise between the stretched PerK versions and the completely cut (and weirdly angled) frames by Blox. We would need all three frames he replaced, however.

Eh, I was just a bit too lazy to edit the hand out properly from the existing frames.

Funnily enough, I think that would've been much less work. :p
Anyways, now to edit that weird hand out of those.

Oh, and the third frame is just the original frame, so we only need those two Minigunner posted.
Edit: Hm, the second one is actually the original-ish one. But anyways, PKSGC0 (the frame after the weird skewed one) looks just fine.

So here goes:

PKSGD0: Image

But the BFG severely needs recoil along with that silly animation.

Errr, I think you confused frame names. B is C and the other way round. :) But I hope this will wrap up the shotgun for good. TBH I cannot see it any more. xD

No, the order is right.

It's just offset magic. :P

Blox, your shotgun still looks bent.

I can't really see it, except for the handle-thingy being off.

Fixing it would be way too much work for too little gain, however. :/

Making this look even is probably hard to do due to the missing hand and its shadow which helps to "cloak" the problem. :)

I have edited the PerK frames so that the hand is much less visible but still there, so you don't have to care about it. Also, please note that we are talking about single frames here. During animation, I highly doubt anyone will observe the left side of the hand all the time. You eventually want to play also. :) In fact, it is practically not noticable one way or the other.

Downloads in first post are updated again. I guess finishing the BFG should be next.

That just contains an issue way bigger than my sprite there. (What you see there to the left is the end of the palm from the thumb. AND STRAIGHT TO THE RIGHT YOU SEE THE FINGERS. OUCH)
It also makes the shotgun look pretty tiny, as his hand is way bigger than the shotgun.
And my issue doesn't really matter in motion:

Oh, and that original animation is really jumpy in terms of barrel shading. This one is kinda less so.

OK, I think I get it now. xD
Files have been updated again in first post. Hope I got all the offsets right, at least they look OK ingame.

Alright, now to make the BFG slide down a little bit after it fired. (Otherwise this is getting near purrfection.)
