A minor quibble, but kinda strange: sometimes I like to go on cheat mode just for giggles and general stress relief, and load up all the weapons. In the latest GitHub build however, this does nothing. Neither the "give all" command in GZdoom and Zdoom, nor the id "idkfa" command allows you to change weapons - you still have only what you've picked up. This applies to both pk3 and pk7 builds.

Prior to this I used to grab NAZIS V2 from other links you had in the top page (MEGA? Can't remember) rather than GitHub, but these are now gone. Not sure if they linked to legacy versions, but the current version as I say will not allow the all weapons/ammo cheat. Not sure if this was an unintended result of a change, or intentional, but I would LOVE to get a previous version again so I can again experience the joy of all those weapons at once.

Lame? Maybe. Do I care? Nope. :mrgreen: Your mod still rocks either way.

The problem with this cheat comes from the current weapon-swapping system, as it breaks horribly. If you're sure you want this try give everything in the console; this is the unconditional version of "give all" that you can use if you are aware of the consequences of what you're about to do, that gives you everything regardless of whether it's flagged to not appear when cheating or even (IIRC) if the resources aren't even present.

By golly, it works! Thanks wildweasel. Hardly my mot common mode of play, but fun as I say for the occasional stress-free Nazi-hunting session.

im gonna be the devils advocate and break the topic for a bit and ask you: are you working on anything else? nazis is fun and all, and heck maybe theres money or fame or whatever involved, but it just seems like you've gone back to this and just this for almost a year now. i miss the variety man :(

I haven't worked on anything, actually. It's just this thread that keeps getting new posts in it, and any actual commits to the repo are pull requests from Ed or easy fixes I can do in ten seconds. I'm gonna be honest, the drive is gone, man.

What is your ZDoom version? It seems as if you should be using a development version, or perhaps even the latest stable from zdoom.org.

No. The enemies are balanced around these weapons, not Doom's or anything else's.
