While I hate to necro this thread, I DO have a somewhat legitimate reason. I think. In the most recent dev build of GZDoom(as of the time of this posting; for posterity's sake this is the one posted on January 15th, 2015, a little over an hour before midnight), the game refuses to start with this mod loaded, stating this as the reason.

I can only assume a change, either intentional or accidental, in the build itself causes this, but I still figured I'd post it here. Sorry if I got anyone's hopes up for a new version! ^^u

Hm. Something similar happened with wildweasel's Heretic StyleMod. That used an ACS function to randomly translate the sprites used by potions

Are you sure you're starting the game with the right IWAD? I'm not getting this error unless I try to start the mod with Doom or something.
