Okay first off the pulse rifle is beautiful, but it needs a scope. See if you can use those unused sprites in the strife wad as a scope.
Second, how do you get the pulse rifle?
Third, it does not work with the HUD, if fact, most of the modified weapons don't work with the HUD
Fourth, the punch dagger(s) is(are) are awesome! I actually look forward to beating up enemies now.
Fifth, the altfire for the Mauler can cause FPS drops.

1. I'll see what I can do.
2. It spawns in place of assault guns which are on their side. It is first found in the sewers.
3. Hm... not totally sure what you mean here... could you be more specific? I didn't design the mod to be used with strife's standard HUD since I'm planning to make a new one. I can only assume you're talking about the weapon pop-up.

5. On my side, it will only cause an FPS drop the first/second times you fire it. I'm not sure what I can do about it. Does it cause lag when it's not in your FOV?

Will there be more weapons? Or is the pulse rifle the only new weapon you are adding?

For the moment, the pulse rifle will be the only addition. It's difficult to add weapons for two reasons: there aren't many weapons spawned in Strife's maps, and because I don't want to have redundant functions. :?

Besides, I don't have any graphics for new weapons.

God, it took me forever to find this thread...

For the next version, I'm going to continue to work on the torch particle effects. I'm still not really happy with them. I'm also going to fix the tan acolyte replacements not having a conversation set.

I'm open to any suggestions; I'm out of ideas for the moment.

Updated again.

This version features a complete overhaul of most of the weapons, and fixes misc bugs.

It REQUIRES gzdoom r1307 or later.

Nice mod! Though I wasn't able to try it at all because I'm experiencing a crash to desktop when I approach the governor. After I talk to him and he calls the guards, I hear the sound when they teleport to the room but they dissapear, it's like a teleportation fail. lol after 3 or 4 seconds my game automatically crashes to desktop. Can you help me with this problem?

I'm using gzdoom-r1351

I wonder if this has something to do with edited acolytes... Are you using the newest version of the mod?

It works now, it seems that there was a problem with my gzdoom version. I've just tried this mod under the latest build of GZdoom and worked perfect!

Based on your screenshots, it looks like the problem was in fact a glitch in the engine which was discovered and stomped not too long ago. Not sure why the game was crashing, though.

By the way, if the governor summons the guards, you've pretty much ended the game. :P

Not to mention the fact that if you finish the Offering Chalice quest that way
