I would have to say that it was quite funny hearing the human enemies fight along side the demons without showing any demonic possesion themselves (as Zero-X mentioned in his review).

That's actually a brilliant idea -- it'd give a bit of incentive to use your pistol ammo if you had a silenced version of one pistol or the other (or both, even).

1. That's something that was requested an awful lot for the last version. I might be able to do it with a little fiddling with the weapon slots. Let me elaborate...

I was re-reading the old Diaz thread last night, and someone asked me why I didn't rearrange the weapon slots to use all ten number keys instead of having 7 keys with two weapons each. I don't think I ever responded to that - I could do that now, since I'm replacing the weapon slots anyway (removing the Keyconf support and changing weapon slots in Decorate instead). The only real question though: how should I arrange them? Traditional power-equals-position style (with the fist on 1 and the Lance Driver on 0)? Most Frequently Used order (like CS, where primary weapons are on 1, sidearms are in the middle of the row, and disposable/throwables are on 0)?

More to the point though, I could move the Marteba from slot 2 to 3, leaving slot 2 for the P50/Judgment/Combo Pistols (which would effectively be one weapon) and the silenced version (pull out the sidearm appropriate to your class with a suppressor attached). More finagling would be needed, and some planning...

I wanted to toss out the three Diaz costumes, but considering the four classes were planned to be a Hernandez feature, would it seem cheap to make Molinero and Cortes available in this version? (For that matter, their sidearms as well? Or should I just give them the P50 or Judgment? Adding their sidearms would complicate my dual-wield plans...)
3.Fully strife compatible

I could work on that but Strife has some quirks that would need specific workarounds, such as the vendors and quest items. I recall not really wanting to mess with that after a while. I know Zero-X is having similar issues with The Martyr.
4.A full enemy replacer

If not complete new replacements, I hope to at least include modified (and graphically new) versions of basic Doom 2 enemies. Any objections to me returning the Revenant and Arch-Vile in some form or another as random spawns, instead of unconditionally replacing them with the Slugthrower and Assault Mecha unconditionally?
5.If your not gonna do hernandez,Why not build on diaz and give it more features,Like a inventory system

I think inventory items would clutter gameplay too much, but I'll hear everybody else's thoughts on it. Maybe enough demand would prompt me to maybe make items like the Combat Boost carryable.
6.Transfer the weapons from hernandez to Diaz?

I kind of don't want to do that, as it would really cheapen what I plan to do with Hernandez.
7.Seperate hands for each class,I've always wanted to see that in action

If somebody wants to do all the new hands on every weapon and code each weapon to support it (which would require four different instances of each weapon just to have different sprites!), then I'll accept that, but I am not going to do that by myself as it would be a royal pain.

I don't want to include a soundtrack with a mod that has no maps. Music should be the mapper's decision, as music should fit the environment, not the weapons and characters.

I dont think it would be a waste to add them,I would hate to see the sidearms and the skins go to waste.

What do you pln to do with hernandez now?

I thought most of them already did have glowing eyes? Well, if not, that'd be a piss-easy edit to make. On about 400 sprites. By hand. =P

Phhhhhh wont be that bad :p

Also,why not add the basic classes of hernandez and diaz,But add funny custom ones like Solid Snake,The Diaz series seems to have a feeling of metal gear solid behind it

Humor was never the point of Diaz. I might have slipped one or two little easter eggs into places most people never look, but I'm not going to do something so obvious as a cameo player class (not by request anyway...)

Yeah, not to mention that even if it were possible to make a cover system, I would not want one, because I prefer to do things manually. I hate cover systems because they never seem to do what I want them to do.
