"OP" is short for 'over powered'. Crash, Phobos, and "Doom" are part of a Hexen mod? I thought this topic was about Hernandez and and Extreme Measures. What are the classes in Extreme measures then? :?

Freeze gun will have a melee attack...it won't be a kick though. :P

Well I figured you had read through the thread already since you mentioned Deimos. Extreme Measures thus far has four classes (and will likely have...four classes...when it's done), but the classes in XM are as follows.
  • Cloak- The default character. Starts off with a shovel and the MagSec 2 rifle.
  • ?????- The as of yet unveiled character (name-wise). Starts off with a Judgment Mark II and a combat knife (for the time being)
  • Tex- Zombified dude, who comes equipped with a rusty Automag and a melee combo.
  • Wild Weasel - Comes equipped with Dual Revolvers and a melee combo, compliments of the Stranger (for the most part)

Welll... now I have 3 mods to looks forward to instead of just two. Looks pretty solid, keep up the good work.

Not entirely sure, I haven't been able to get the stuff off of my old harddrive yet and that drive has all of my Doom stuff :( You're better off asking Weasel at this point.

If nothing else, I will at least have a playable "preview" by the end of 2009. I can't guarantee that it'll be 100% finished, but I'm thinking Hernandez will follow the same sort of release schedule as Diaz - tons and tons of public betas until I deem it finished.

Extreme Measures: Hits Collection Edition
  • ????? class is now getting replaced. With who? Well...it's finally time to announce it here, but...????? joins XM! What is he fighting for? Can't be himself, he needs an emotional background!
  • New zombies being added! P50 Zombie, Autopistol Zombie, Mag-Sec Zombie, and more are currently being worked on!
  • All classes are getting a bit of a make-over!

Cloak, Weasel, and Tex!

That's about it. I've been working on weapons for Hernandez and those require vastly more work than most of the stuff in here. Hopefully I'll be able to continue both!

Looks pretty awesome. I like those sprites.

Hmm, I remember making some sprites for somebody a few days ago and the name "Hernandez" was mentioned. :?

Oops, sorry guys. I was referring to the Agent Hernandez demo-beta thing :P

Extreme Measures: Hits Collection Edition
  • New monsters! The Pain Elemental has been revamped a bit. It now shoots a projectile much like the Cacodemon. (I believe in the Doom 2 betas it did this :P) It uses edited sprites and such as well, with a new bite attack!
  • Enjay's Cacomental joins the fray! I might be adjusting behavior a bit, but right now both the first and second versions are in.
  • Cacodemon will also have a slightly edited attack, shooting out a lighting ball instead of its original fireball.
  • New Lost Soul! Honestly I hate the vanilla Lost Soul, it looks pretty goofy, so I'm making my own modifications to it :P
  • The new Pain Elemental, Cacomental, and Cacodemon spawn randomly in place of the original Cacodemon. :D
  • Coming up with a new variant of the original Pain Elemental, called the Soul Elemental, which will do the sorta thing you used to expect out of the old Pain Elemental :P

On a side note, I already thoroughly tested Hernandez and I gotta say, it's a little different than I expected... of course, I'm used to Diaz's standards so it felt a little awkward...
