Ante Mortem (WIP)

Ante Mortem is a WIP multi level project that makes full use of OTEX's looks and GZdoom's functionality within unique/atmospheric environments. Featuring challenging gameplay, extensive ACS scripting, dynamic lighting, and a modified palette.

Flavor: Mars has been invaded and lost, your method of escape was to board a demonic starship inbound for earth and save what's left by the time you return. (TBC)

I'll keep updating this thread as new maps are added. While I'd love to make a megawad I'm not going to be too ambitious and promise that, I'll keep adding maps until I feel is a good point to tie this project off.

Current Map Roster:

Map01: Interloper 12/15/20 (Demonic Starship) 8:30 par

Map02: Castrum 06/04/21 (Hellish installation on Earth) 18:00 par

Map03: Core Infestation 07/30/21 (Tech base being overtaken by hell as the map progresses) 16:00 par

WAD: Ante Mortem
Tested-Compatible: GZDoom 4.5.0 or later
Difficulty: Fully Supported
Freelook: Required
Jump-Crouch: Required

Requires Hardware Rendering

Pistol Starts: balanced for pistol starts but continuous is supported and helps mitigate some of the challenge
Custom Texture pack: OTEX version 1.1 by Ola Björling (Ukiro)
Other Assets: Carpets from Blood, Supercharged Trees (Tango)
Music: Denied(DoomKid92), Sepulchral (Hellish Godzilla), Massacre Machine (Lippeth)

I don't play Doom these days, but those screens look fantastic.
