[Release] While You Were Sleeping

This is a Doom 1 episode I've worked on that replaces The Shores of Hell. I designed it specifically for Crispy Doom, but it should work for any limit removing ports.
This is my first release for anything Doom related, so any feedback is appreciated.

That was good fun. I like it. It's a nice "back to basics" map set; not too challenging but nicely put together and with good progression. Definitely something I'll play a few times. :thumb:

Played this yesterday with Gzdoom and it is a good mapset with all levels being enjoyable to play :)

Only thing i noticed was that i always had tons of health and ammo.
And the secrets felt extremely generous and easy to find, maybe this is the reason why i had so much health and ammo but it get to a point where i simply stopped picking up powerups in the end. Or maybe i was just lucky with all the secrets

Thank you, I wanted it to feel as old school as possible, so I guess I got that right.

Thanks. I may have added in a lot more ammo and power ups than needed in my attempt to make it viable from pistol start.

Was very nice and fun, loaded it up with crispy.
It was really nice and simple, and I liked the design of the levels.

It's like I had just downloaded an entire 9 level episode of just Sandy Peterson levels, not that that's a bad thing because I enjoy his levels and I enjoyed these too.

I found most of the levels to be a bit short though

a simple,short, little generous on ammo&health and overall a cool casual wad.

Very well crafted mapset ! The flow is impressive, it's a bit on the easy side tho but it's why doom let us choose the difficulty !

This is really nice for a first mapset! I could definitely see you getting more adventurous with the level layouts and traps as you went on - the secret map really stood out in how well it was decorated. The difficulty is definitely very low, with mostly shareware enemies and a ton of health and armour provided, but sometimes that's what you want.

As I'd recently done a hard-as-nails puzzley Heretic WAD, I put a video together as a bit of a break :) I hope that my observations are helpful in making further maps, because I definitely want to see more from you!
