NoMonochrome - A Color Themed Episode [RELEASE]

NoMonochrome is an 8-level wad, where each map centers around a different color. It's made in zdoom, tested with Zandronum, and GZDoom. Different difficulties are implemented. Project is fully co-op compatible. It was created with cc4 textures only.

Very nice looking! Two questions. One, do I need to load this with the cc4-tex.pk3 resource file? Two, what is the mapsize/difficulty, slaughterwad or slower paced?

You need to load only nomono.wad, and nothing else.

Most maps take about 20 minutes to beat. A few first ones are shorter, the last one is longer. I would describe the overall difficulty as ''pretty harsh''. Experienced players shouldn't have problems with beating the maps, but there are some slaughter-ish encounters, that can take a few tries.

Very cool maps! I'm only halfway through but I'm having a lot of fun. Each map feels unique and interesting and looks gorgeous. They are brilliantly designed too, there are some really cool setups I don't think I've seen anywhere else. I'm glad that you didn't stick too vehemently to the idea of single colour maps - they weren't literally all one single colour or texture, and each level is coherent and pretty, not sacrificing visual flair or interesting gameplay for being a purely gimmicky levelset.

I commend you for such great work! Thanks for sharing it with us!
