Maybe swap it over to the opposite wall, so the player's more likely to see it coming from the right entrance?

I've basically spent the last 48 hours doing nothing but mapping, and I'm maybe halfway done. I don't think I know how to not be wildly ambitious.

Alas, I don't have any cool architecture shots I want to show off yet! Maybe I should, uh, get on fixing that.

You know, I am in a bit of a perdiciment right now.

I wanted to make a teleporter to a boss room in my map against 2 BFG Marines and 4 Nazi's, but I am using eev.ee's slade mapping tutorials, he mentions to make a teleporter I need to give it a TID (or Thing ID) big I don't know where the people at slade put the TID option at. I was going to upload a screenshot, but my computer has a lot of virusus and I'm just tired. I also have an updated, untested new version of my map at https://www.dropbox.com/s/afn7sa42irqv6 ... e.wad?dl=0. (If the teleporter works and I'm just wrong, please tell me.)

P.S. Is it just me, or can't I keep a script saved? Maybe I need to update my Slade (I'm using Slade 3.1.1, At the time of writing the latest version's 3.1.1.1).

Hey hey, that's mine :) It's in the top section of the props sidebar, and called "ID" there. Or you can right-click > properties and there's a "TID" field at the bottom of the first tab.

Just keep going with it dude, it's better than what I have so far. This isn't about your map being amazing, it's about getting kick-started and getting SOMETHING done.
