1.25, I haven't done any extended major edits to MoC Overkill in almost a year (due to other games and other Doom projects) but mostly a few minor edits in the past couple months. Standard and Hardcore stand as-is right now and are complete, "Overkill" sits at about 80% for Doom (E1M1 through E3M2) while Doom 2 sits around 65% (Up to MAP20, which was edited recently).

I'll be interested to see your take on Episode 4. The difficulty balance there is already pretty tight, since its first few levels are really difficult compared to the other episodes. E4M2 and E4M3 still give me trouble to this day. :P

E4M1 is considered the hardest maps of the entire doom series. I've played it on Nightmare, and I agree - even when compared to any other map with pistol start.
I think it's still possible to add more sections to the map to make it longer, without making the already-hard sections any harder.

I am not going to bother touching E4, I still need to finish E3 in Overkill style and MAP21 - MAP31-2.

I know this is a big bump but I am still working on the Overkill edition occasionally. The ModDB link currently has version 1.27 up plus the changelog below here:

11-29-16 WIP 1.28:

-Minor fixes to MAP04 regarding teleport ambush in main corridors.
-Mine-like areas added to MAP26
-Fixed monster stuck in MAP26
-Work on MAP27

What's new in 1.25 to 1.27:

RC 1.26 to 1.27:
-Additional work done on MAP23, MAP24 and MAP25.
-Title picture added!
-Console background added!
-M_DOOM replaced.

RC 1.26 to 1.27:
-Added cover to E3M1's starting area.
-Completed E3M9, using E3M1 as a base and building on top of it.

RC 1.25 to 1.26:

-Modifications to E1M9 to make it the cruelest E1 map so far.

Thanks for the mappack man!
I can´t play vanilla Doom without this, it makes it much more intense and fun.
Any new on Overkill version yet? Last unfinished portions of the Doom 2 felt like spoiled intercourse... :P

Other projects, including an updated RDND and other maps have diverted my attention from MoC for the time being. It will be further worked on eventually.

Only little bits have been done since then, but it's still around. Just not as active on the project due to other things.

There seems to be a problem with Focus. There are two players -- first is situated at the starting point of the map, second one is outside the cage, right in the middle of bloodbath. You start the map playing as a second player.
