Download: chips19 - 19 maps

This is a remake of 19 levels from the game Chip's Challenge that I made for ZDoom in 11 days in August 2008 (you might want to play CC first, if you play this). There's no fighting - you just solve puzzles and stuff.

CHIPS LEFT = the "monsters" stat on the automap
CHIPS PICKED UP = armor
BLUE KEYS = bullets
GREEN KEYS = shells
RED KEYS = rockets
YELLOW KEYS = cells
FLIPPERS = blue keycard
SKATES = blue skull key
FIRE BOOTS = red keycard
SUCTION BOOTS = yellow keycard

The portals that take your boots don't really work do they?

Map 09 doesn't seem to have a possible solution to it does it?
The green button that switches the walls is a force floor...

Btw, the punch to push feature can get really annoying as it'll send most of the 'boxes' across the room instead of moving up exactly one square, often glitching and hanging behind corners...
That and the teleportation thingy will mostly telefrag the 'box' when you follow after >.>

The portals that take your boots should work (at least in ZDoom 2.2.0). Which map has a problem?
For the force-floor part in map09, hold backwards and a strafe direction to stop your momentum so you can get to the next area.
Yeah, punching the hell knights can be tricky. It helps if you use a crosshair and to be really careful when aiming your punch. Sometimes you can get the hell knight unstuck from a wall, but sometimes you have to restart the map (like in CC). Telefragging the hellknights was intentional because in CC if you walk through the teleporter the same way you pushed the block through, the block will be pushed against a wall and you'll have to restart the level.

Also, there's a demo in the zipfile that shows how to beat every map in 20:43 (recorded with ZDoom 2.2.0 - turn off screen wipes if you record with that ZDoom version).
