Blast from the past: Excessive Force & others

http://www.prdarkfox.com/doomstuff/ef.zip Project Dark Fox was kind enough to provide a mirror for those who can't connect to my host
Proof that everyone has to start somewhere, copies of two of my earliest ZDoom projects. These are NOT run together, they're stand alone projects that are connected by theme. Mind the graphics, layouts, etc., I was a newb after all, and DECORATE didn't exist yet in any form. :P

Excessive Force (exforce.wad)
This isn't the final version of this project, but I lost it to a HDD crash. :(

You're a cop of the future, and your partner has just been killed by an attack android, a device banned by the world goverment. The evil corporation that developed it has their fingers into everything, and no one will touch them. Leaving your badge behind, you set off on a mission of personal vendetta. (Now, isn't that original?)

Despite being an earlier build, it's still fully playable and can be finished. Kill the CEO, and go back to your hovercar. It's a lot harder then it was when developed, so god mode is recommended. You may want sun glasses too.

Shooting out cameras was supposed to decrease the waves of security guards, but I'm not sure it still works, or even implemented in this version.

Excessive Force Shootout (efshoot.wad)
This is how Gunsmith Cats started, and was the testbed for the gunfight scenes in the final Excessive Force. Step out to the sidewalk, shoot enough bad guys to the end the stage, don't shoot the civilian (blonde waving her arms) to gain +5 health. Doesn't work properly without the compat option to re-enable the old sound target behavior. Again, a lot harder then was developed.

Armitage vs ED 209 Run the batch file to load the files in order, edit as needed.
A silly little scenario that pits Armitage from Armitage the III against ED-209 from RoboCop.

Depends on what you want to count and exclude, many projects have been merged or bits and pieces used in other projects. Off the top of my head, listed in no particular order:

Pretty Sammy vs Sailor Moon (lost last build to HDD crash)
A Furry Tale > A Furry Tale Retold (uploaded to IDGames)
MAIS (finished)
Armitage vs ED-209 (finished?)
Lywren (abandoned)
Shades of War (hobby project)
Wolfen (uploaded to IDGames)
HQuest 2 (abandoned)
Hellspawn (lost last build to a HDD crash) > A New Hellspawn (uploaded to IDGames) > Hellspawn 2 (abandoned)
Bittersweet (almost finished, no progress)
Harem (never released/abandoned) > DoomQuest (abandoned) > HQuest (abandoned)
Extra Weapons (uploaded to IDGames?)
WolfenSlige (abandoned)
Spirit High (never released/hobby project)
Infernal Power (never released/abandoned)
Stargate Bastet (abandoned, for now)
Star Wars: Chibi Rebellion (WIP)
Excessive Force /EF Shootout (lost final build to HDD crash)
Gunsmith Cats: Russian Roulette (finished v1)
Ghost in the Shell: Tachikoma (never released/hobby project)
Power DoLLS: Innersphere Assault (almost finished, no progress)
Crushed: A ZDoomed Adventure featuring Purity Meadows (abandoned)
Adessa (abandoned) / Infestation (never released/abandoned)

And why was this never released? Armitage is one of my favorite anime movies/mini series! Assuming it's Armitage the Third, anyway. :D

It was, but that was like two (ph)forums ago. Doesn't work 100%, but works enough. I think. Included a batch file to load in proper order, edit as needed.

And, as is usual, I find myself unable to connect to Mouse's host, and am therefore unable to download the files.

Could someone who can, please post these somewhere more reliable?

No offense intended to your host, Mouse, but, viewed as a whole (looking at ability to connect to hosted sites and files) it leaves much to be desired.

I can't connect to midmaine at work because, for some reason, the filters block it.

I think I've played most, if not all of the mods listed. However, i didn't realise that there were quite so many until I saw them all together like that.

I had problems from home a few weeks ago, but that seems to be resolved now. I'm not actually convinced that what I described as blocking for my work is actually blocking. Normally when a site is blocked at work, a message pops up telling you as much instead of taking you to the requested site. However, with your site ie just sits there for ages until it eventually times out.

UK.

And to provide a control, I'm sitting in the U.S. and have no problem downloading at all. Anyone sense a trend here?

Though admittedly, Enjay being able to download form home is an exception, but whatever. I'm just pointing out the obvious. :P
