After the long and intense fight, finally I opened a gate and saw the cyberdemon behind the door. I was happy because I knew its ending time! I raised my plasma rifle the first time and the ammo drops extravagantly. In about 15 seconds, I noticed something looks very illusional and becomes too curious to keep playing tricks with the cyberdemon. I put the gun down, walked towards it, then my computer started lagging and I couldn't control anymore. My screen became red and the CameraViewHeight dropped to zero.

Not if I said that I lived for so long. :3: But an ammo shortage is an ammo-shortage, and I generally think I'm pretty accurate. Not 100%, but...
Still. To say that it's too hard then saying it's on the player for just playing bad is definitely the wrong thing to say, because using rockets in the confines of this place took some artful maneuvering. Really, I want to hear Morpheus' opinion on this than yours...

Oh, and If we're using pendulum, I'd recommend The terminal more..
but either way we look at it, pendulum is a no-go as far as copyright issues go.

Eh, that's true. :(

I did not experience an ammo shortage (except some parts in the very beginning, if by "ammo shortage" you mean "having to fall back to the pistol instead of using only the shotgun"), but then I found the berserk pack early and used it to punch to death all pinky herds I met. I also like to let infighting soften up swarms of enemies. So it's easy to conserve ammo in such conditions.

I tend to be pretty wasteful with ammo but I didn't find myself running particularly short either. In fact a few times, right at the point where I fired my last bullet, a new supply had just come into view (perhaps beyond a monster) so, IMO, the ammo balance was actually pretty good and very much part of the gameplay.

My opinion? I admit the map was a little short on ammo at the beginning, but i have had no problems in completing it on UV. But maybe that's just because i am the author, and i know all its secrets.

Try beating the maps without using the stuff from the secret areas, put yourself in the players seat with testing. Its possible that the maps will have ammo problems if you don't manage to find an single secret.

When testing my own maps, I like to be able to complete the map on HMP without "finding" any of the secrets. On UV, I maybe make it a good idea (ie almost, but not quite essential) to find at least some, but not all, of the secrets.

idk if this was already said but the blue key rooms poly door can almost be walked through. a very undesirable glitch even though you cant walk through it, but you can still see through it when you walk into it, and when you fire all the monsters inside wakeup and run to the door. i played this on zdoom and not gzdoom incase that makes a differance.

@AlwaysDoomed: it doesn't happen to me. Using ZDoom 2.3.1 as well.

Nova here,
I must say this was a very excellent map that I really enjoyed :)
Took me about 45 minutes or so to run through and here is my little synopsis.

About the ammo thing, it was pretty tough trying to keep it at the beginning until I got the back pack.
I just led most enemies through the tiny doorways and punched them as long as i had the berserk power up anyhow. Health was a little short as project dark fox said, the average health for me was prolly about 45% but i never died once through the level. I did end up getting nailed by a rev missile and ended up with 6 % though at the blue key area  . The rocket launcher trap was scary too but made it through that. I liked the new monsters used, again it really gave the level a new strategy than if it were just all the older monsters.

The detail level was good for me, spending the time I did on the level I never got bored of it and enjoyed the entire theme throughout. Kinda wish there were a few more outdoor areas but not to say that it was bad, as I said I loved the entire level.

My overall review was 10/10. Game play balance was perfect (again health and ammo shortage at times but the berserk was put in the game for a reason!), detail level was perfect as so was the length of the level. Keep it up Morpheus, cant wait to see more in the future! Also I agree with the music, wasn't very in tune with it at all so I played with it off.

45 minutes? How are you all taking so long?! :P Just over half an hour on UV feels a bit slow to me, but thats been my time for the first and second playthrough.
