[FAIL] 2: "T3h Suck!"
Happy 4th, everybody! And Happy Birthday, America!
Anyhow, I figured I'd celebrate by announcing my own "independence" from three old, dead projects of mine. And what better way to celebrate a wad than to share it with the world?
Introducing Part 2 of my "Fail" releases: "T3h Suck!"
Many of you might unfortunately remember Worst Hub, my extra-horrid "sequel" to Lost Soulsphere which wound up nearly taking a Cacoward for Worst Wad (thankfully it wasn't spotted in time, ;P ). Of course, I couldn't just stop there and leave bad enough alone, could I?
"T3h Suck", or SHiTWADS IV, takes everything that was terrible about Worst Hub, multiplies it by infinity, and serves the end product with an extra helping of skunk juice and gasoline fumes. To put it short, this thing is bloody terrible... blow away INSANE amounds monsters with STUPID-powerful weapons in a manner that's usually frustrating and always insane. Thankfully, I never finished this, but for the curious, here's the battered, beaten shell of a wad that never deserved to see the light of day...
Screenies, for (in)justice:
What are ya waiting for? Nab T3h Suck! now (if you dare) and get the most fun out of a failure as you possibly can!
Stay tuned for Fail Part 3: the coveted HELLDOOM!

Re: [FAIL] 2: "T3h Suck!"
It will happily do that if you turn infinite ammo on, so my recommendation is to leave it off. =pprzndoom wrote:but the chainsaw crashed my computer
Re: [FAIL] 2: "T3h Suck!"
"Blowig up Bildign" was the f'in shit. I don't know why, but that huge line of voodoo dolls on that conveyor belt to instant death I found absolutely hilarious.
Re: [FAIL] 2: "T3h Suck!"
This is almost as good as WORSTHUB. I'll have to say, "Tyson" and "HFVOUISBYEF" or whatever it is are absolute genius. And is that "The Show Must Go On" I hear?

Hah, this is actually pretty fun, besides a few levels. As Wills said, Tyson was really cool, especially in the area where you fight the pain elementals.
Lol'd at people complaining about the "accidental" texture errors but the novelty of them wore off pretty quickly.

Heh. Good gameplay. I wouldn't have stopped if the game didn't crash.
Re: [FAIL] 2: "T3h Suck!"
Oh great scott, people actually like this?
Ehehehe, well it's amusing for a few minutes anyhow. I had a quick runthrough of "Night of the Flatulent" and "All of Them" earlier. Nuts. ;P
So, I'm defininitely improving MAP15 ("blowing up bildign") and putting that in TurboCharged ACRADE! but does anyone here think Map09 ("Ph33r of Heights") is worth salvaging? The gameplay will need to be messed with of course (unless a stupid turbo-speed weapon is in order), but is the puzzle even worth keeping? Still debating this one, myself.
The only other TcA-able map is probably MAP12 ("Sittey") though I'll *need* an overpowered weapon to keep the "gameplay" similar. Still don't know if I'm going to do that though...
Also I think MAP14 would make a good benchmark for testing your CPU's processing speed. ;P

Bah, of all the levels I've played of this, I'd say that was my least favorite of them all. Enough people will probably disagree with me though.Xaser wrote:("Ph33r of Heights")
Re: [FAIL] 2: "T3h Suck!"
I second that, but only because I had no idea what I was supposed to do.
Blowing Up Bildign was awesome, and so was Tyson. I think Tyson would probably be a worthy addition to TcA at least in concept. Can't go wrong with punching down walls! And I'm sure there are other ways that idea could be applied...
Most of the other maps gave me horrible, horrible lag, of course.
