Wow... this looks like one of THE most atmospheric wads I've ever seen. And most of those wads were novelty things like Ghoul's Forest, not standard Doom-style gaming. Amazing mix, there, Torm.

Sweet, I loved the city of the damned even if it did take forever to find where to go. Don't make any coop traps this time eh? :P

Yet another shot:

A lonely mansion in the darkness of the forest, evil voices sound from the inside through the night.

For those of you without IR Goggles.

I'm also surprised at how easily pleased everyone seems to be.
I mean, I do like torm's idea, but he hasn't actually showed us any real content. So in my mind, there is nothing more to say than "that's a cool idea".

Hm, looking forward to this.

Hopefully there are also complimentary weaponry for the mod's atmosphere and design direction.

I second Psycho Siggi's fact. Please, just don't get them so dark. It damages my eyes.

Siggi's image actually shows stuff :shock:

And yeah, I'll agree with Siggi that there seems to be this massive tendancy to just go wow at images now.

For some reason, looking at that house reminds me of the house you start at, in the game Resident Evil 4. :?

@Cutty - I doubt it but would be cool :)

@Blazing - Never played it

Conc. the darkness of the shots: It looks better behind dark backgrounds or in fullscreen, so don't worry about that ;) Lighter areas will follow soon ;)

Can you actually enter that house (AKA mad mapping skillz using GZDoom linetype 160) or is that purely decorative?

You can enter the house, the first and second floor are both accessable and it looks scary ;)
