Round and Round (for ZDoom or GZDoom)

Post by Kappes Buur »

This was my very first map, just when ZDoom 1.17 came out. I found it on one of my old, old harddrives.
I had submitted it to DoomWorld's 'first map project', but that went nowhere.

After cleaning it up a bit, here some some screenshots:

And the link for the download

Hint: walk straight forward :D

And, as usual, your comments are welcomed. 8-)

Quite a fun wad there. :) The only problem that I found was the gameplay. It rather easy and short when I found the rocket and cell ammo, but I guess that is okay, considering that was your first map.

I didn't really like it, but at least it was better than my first wad.

Yeah, the rocket launcher was a bit much given you're never at risk of running out of shells. :P

Nice map. Has that compact, neither confusing nor explicitly linear, deathmatch-compatible flow that I really liked in a lot of the Quake maps that you don't see often nowadays. Could be a bit better looking but with solid, fast-paced gameplay who cares how it looks :D
