Marines: Part 1: Back from Lost

Hello all,

I'm currently working on a modification for Doom ][: Hell on Earth. It's called 'Marines' and it will be a trilogy of 3 .wads which each will consist out of 10 maps. I'm trying to detail everything as much as possible, but as I'm only mapping for about half a year, this is a big project for me. I have some links which might interest you, these contain info about Marines.

The first .wad will be named Marines: Part 1: Back from Lost. This is sortof the introduction to Marines, you learn a bit about the story here. As I said, I'm giving my absolute total self on this .wad. This is my first 'big' project. The current progress is on WIP, as well on the Forums of Echelon Design, I will put them here for you as well.

Progress:
Main Menu: Partually finished.
INTER1 - fully finished
MAP01 - fully finished
MAP02 - fully finished
MAP03 - fully finished
MAP04 - in progress...

A bit more information about the maps:
INTER1 (strange things) - Sortof a small map that tells you a bit more about the .wad and the story, most of the time these maps are very short, that's why they will NOT be counted as a real map. I think it would be unfair if I filled the .wad with short inter maps ;).

MAP01 (warming up) - A map to warm-up for what's next ( like the name suggests ). The story doesn't really start yet there , as doesn't the more advanced 'LDR' and scripting.

MAP02 (the machine) - This took me a while to build, the first room is actually the big 'machine' the map is called after, it took me alot of work to make it. The rest of the map is filled with suprises and sometimes difficult parts ( and no I don't wanna discuss what actually is HARD and what isn't ;) ).

MAP03 (caught again) - Continues where the 'Strange Things' stopped, you get caught again by some strange flash and you show up somewhere else. Again you have to investigate where the leader of the monsters is going to and how to find him.

I'm not going to give you any footage or screenshots about MAP03 yet, no spoilers for you! :D It's still in the beginning stage and it needs more detail. Any comments, rants, tips, trucs, feedback, etc.. is welcome! Feed meh your rants. :wink:

It also shows how I learned how to map a bit. In the beginning, print is still used, then later on, I start using HudMessage and !once scripts, etc..
If you want some more screenshots or something, just ask.
