Hm, so the Templar sword is only used in teh first mission and is then replaced by Vorpal Blade?

Finished the Templar Sword. Had to redo a large portion of it after realizing I downscaled with "Nearest Neighbor" instead of "Bicubic-Sharper" in photoshop.

EDIT #1: Hm, Some of it still don't look right. Will need to fix it.

EDIT #2: Corrected some perspective issues.

Testing 3D-to-2D spriting workflow with the Sentinel. Trying to find the fastest way possible to get the best results with minimal work.

hell, the glove alone looks fantastic

that sentinel looks like it has one of them pharaoh hats on

To think it started as a spawn cube, and now look at it, bigger than a cyberdemon!

Gotta love those orange carvings. And yeah, i remember its very small previous design. And i say it's hell of an evolution!

Finished the movement frames and are on to the attacks. If all things go smoothly, I should be done with the new sentinel by the end of next week.

i imagine the death animation is going to be the hardest part
unless you're going with the "explode and send chunks as seperate actors all over the place" method

The death should be significantly easier with a 3D model. ZBrush 4r8 has a live boolean function that lets me cut up the thing into pieces pretty easily.

The Sentinels look very, very appealing. Love the detailing on it. Good luck with the project!

I no longer have the old versions of Demon Eclipse. A new beta will be out by the end of the year. or January next year, though. Maybe you can wait until then?
