Sounds like a release date in 6 months.
Umm.... who is to say that they aren't in already? Besides, AFAICT I wouldn't think that easter eggs are hard to put in. And, it IS 90% done.

Also,

I just realized... how long EXACTLY has this been worked on? Because if it's only been going for just over a year, then not only is that a reasonable time for a project like this, but that is an EFFICIENT time for a project like this. Looking at the screenshots and all the info you've given, it seems like that is a ton of work. It may just be 9 levels but come on, that is a load of work for that amount of time.

It just sounds to me now that it wasn't taking an eternity, but rather that people were being impatient. I mean, RTC took, what was it, TWO years to be finished? Remember how short the finished product was? Everyone who can't wait for one year to get their hands on a project that had a major amount of work involved obviously are too impatient.

I must be having either a brain fart or a lack-of-humor moment. I don't get it. :?

It's like I was saying, then. People are too impatient.

In 6 months time it'll be April. The Easter holiday begins towards the end of March and finishes towards the end of April, and a certain well known treat is given out during this time.

Okay, some data you can count and calculate with:

Code: Select all

24MB MUSIC
14MB RESOURCES
39MB PURE MAP DATA (WITH NODES BUILD)
------------
24MB MUSIC COMPRESSED
06MB RESOURCES COMPRESSED
15MB PURE MAP DATA COMPRESSED
------------
77MB KDIZD UNCOMPRESSED
45MB KDIZD COMPRESSED
It's possible that these numbers may differ in the final version of KDiZD but it won't differ much in the end I think...

That's assuming they actually get 56K transfers. 7Kbps is more realistic for dialup.

Start the download, and then go to bed. When you wake up, it should be done. (Considering you don't get kicked off)
