Chunky/Thick/Fat Sprite Hack

For the people that have played the Quest VR port of zdoom can maybe help pitch in this idea hack that can maybe be brought over to gzdoom and be changed to have the monsters be chunky/thick so the monster will have depth added to them without any work done to all the sprites, sure there not fantastic with this method but will make them at least not look like cardboard especially since the sprites are better then the current 3D models of monsters. It does this by adding the sprite concurrently multiple times closely to give it that thickness look (i guess similar how the NES hack makes sprites look "3d") without needing voxels etc made.

VR zdoom only does it for weapons and looks decent when editing the thickness and amount, so i was thinking can someone look into this for the monsters here instead?

As you can see in the screenshot below, there is an option at the bottom for 'weapon sprite 3d' and 'weapon fat item width' which makes a sprite have shape to it in turns of depth/width, it's a hacky way but looks decent.

I don't think the developers of GZDoomVR or QuestZDoom visit this forum that often. I'd suggest you to make feature suggestions on their discord/github.

Sorry but that has nothing to do with what i said, i guess i was not clear about it my bad.

I was wondering if someone can make the fat/thick hack modification of the VR version but for the Monsters in regular GZDoom that way we can have depth of the monsters rather then looking like cardboard.
