UDMF textmap cleanup

Postby zhadoom » Mon Nov 23, 2020 3:24 am

Hello :D

Is there any tool to cleanup textmap entries in UDMF maps?
I recognised that GZDB supposedly saves redundant data in textmaps. For exampla, thing positioned are stored as xxxx.000
I'm wondering, if three 0s are actually needed in this case.

Kind regards

Not to the best of my knowledge. You'd have to do it manually.

It shouldn't really matter when the map is zipped, because redundant bits of identical text is what compression handles the best.
