LZDoom Free Look Problem

How do you remove this weird wobbly effect when looking up or down in LZDoom? It really eye-straining and some help would be appreciated.

Don't worry, we aren't robots. It happens all the time and you aren't breaking any rules by re-posting the thing after you log in - we simply mark the other post as a duplicate and it disappears.

Could you be more specific?

Is your aspect ratio set incorrectly? Both GZDoom and LZDoom like square pixel screens. Make sure your desktop screen resolution is set to native.

Weren't you using the legacy build? Which LZDoom version? For the software renderer there's a y-shearing effect and that's normal.

That's because you're running software rendering on LZDoom.

You'll have to type "vid_renderer 1" in the console, then restart, to get the full OpenGL mode.
