Hi!
I'm new here and I don't know where to post this. So if I made a mistake by posting here - sorry.
There are a lot of modding tools for Doom/ZDoom. Anyone know where I can find for Hexen?
Yesterday I've done playing D4V mod and it encouraged me to toy around with vanilla type mod. But in fantasy setting.
I found DeHackEd and WhackEd 4 but they support only Doom.
Thanks for answer

Re: Question about hexen modding tools
Heretic has HHE as its DEHACKED equivalent, I'm not sure if ZDoom supports it. I don't think Hexen has anything similar.

Thanks so much.
I dig around and found editor called Hex:
https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/utils ... it/hex084f
and something called Hexen Hack Editor:

Re: Question about hexen modding tools
HHE for hexen was reasonably fully featured (but lacked a few things that DHE for Doom did). The Hexen tools were more limited again.
GZDoom does not support them but if your project is for GZDoom, there will be far, far better ways of achieving what you want to do using native GZDoom features.

GZDoom does not support them
I don't think that any port, aside from the Chocolate versions supports these modifications. Any mod using them will inevitably become an obscurity.
