Can't remember a specific WAD made by designer in industry

A couple or so years ago there was a wad released on a page that also went over the details of how the wad was designed. It mentioned thing s about how choice was given to the player, interest was added by making sure there was stuff available high and low. I'm fairly certain it was designed by someone in the game industry. I also think I remember it being a single level, but I could be wrong about that. It had its own dedicated site, and a youtube video with commentary. Anyone remember this wad?
