ZDoom

I'm not sure if this is the right board, but i wanted to know how to play Daniel's arsenal mod now. Do i really have to use an ancient version of ZDoom to play it?

What happens if it's loaded in a new version?

If OP means the DoomRL arsenal, it runs with the latest version of gzdoom

He means arsenal.wad by Daniel. He said this in the very first post.

He probably gets some DECORATE errors concerning A_Jiggle and A_FireCustomMissile which terminate loading GZDOOM, for example

My bad. I clearly didnt see that "daniel's" when I replied

Turns out this error references a code pointer that got removed a decade ago because it didn't actually do anything, and Daniel just happened to use it somewhere. I imagine you could make it work by commenting out any instances of A_Jiggle in the Decorate lump.

I opened it with SLADE 3 and removed them, i saved but it still says that it doesn't work due to A_Jiggle.

Then you probably missed an instance somewhere. Were you using Find and Replace (ctrl+F)? Did it save properly?
