"noise" console command info list

Postby Hirogen2 » Tue Sep 16, 2003 12:15 pm

While going through the cmdlist and cvarlist, I came across the "noise" command/cvar which shows a debug info of sounds currently playing. What do brick-colored entries mean?
Is it possible for ZDoom to have more than 16 concurrent sounds playing?

I haven't come across a brick-colored entry yet. Can you determine the sound's name?

Since there are only 12 lines, I would assume that ZDoom will play up to 12 sounds simultaneously.

Eh right 12 then lol.
Any entry can become brick-colored, the best way to get at such entries is to play Hexen's Darkmere, it has got a lot of ambient sounds. But it is not only ambient, local or somewhat sounds that seem to be able to become brick.
