Mapping double-click to use/open - zDoom
Trying to have single left click to fire, but double click to use/open...can't map double click in controls customization...how?

You can do it with the help of the console. [wiki=CCMDs#Button_commands]Check here[/wiki] for your answer - an example is even there too! I'm not sure how this will act with a fire (single click) and a use (double click) button bound to the same button. You might end up blasting your self to smithereens if you try to use a door while holding a rocket launcher.

The first click of the doubleclick will always be interpreted as a fire action, so you will fire everytime you want to activate something.

Hm...I had assumed the -doublebind option on console would do it, but yeah...ramon makes a good point... Trying to find that perfect control scheme, but I think I'm going to need a crazier mouse. Thanks!

The "walk" button used to double-click to use/open in old Doom.
