Attenuated subtractive lights?

Post by Enjay »

Have attenuated subtractive lights been added?

Does such a thing even make sense (i.e. would there even be a point in a subtractive light being attenuated)?

I've had a look around but I don't see anything obvious to say they're in. I don't use subtractive lights often, but they can be useful for creating a shadowy area and I just wondered if an attenuated version of the current subtractive lights would look better or not.

You could do it manually for placeable lights but my impression was also that this doesn't really make sense.
