Actually what I did was just apply the invert filter - nothing more. (This is full invert, so it changes the colors too) It's experimental so I don't expect to actually keep it - but it does show what can be done, I guess.
Honestly, it might be better if someone made a real theme.
I like the idea of a "presentation" site for all the *ZDoom engines , maybe a gallery for the most representative mods for those engines, the links to the various forums/bugtracker, and some short presentation of the source ports with a little history.
Obviously this is all IMHO

How about we get each of the theme from the major Doom forums and "themes" of the sourceports? Black and dark green and purple for Zandronum, greens with varied shades for QZDoom, and dark blue for GZDoom or Doomworld. And of course, keep the original beige and maroon that we have right now.
I just completed the bug tracker, so as soon as that's ok'd by Graf it'll become official.
That gives me more time to work on an actual phpBB theme.
I'm sorry, but I am not going to do a subsilver2 based theme. They are obsolete and deprecated for a reason. But you'll like the prosilver ones once you get used to them.
Looks alright color scheme-wise. The control layout is what I'll really miss in the end, but I suppose someday I'll have to learn to move on.
One thing, it appears to not respect the "show post profiles on (left/right)" settings. I prefer mine to the left but it forces to the right on this one.
I don't know if I can fix that but I'll look into it.
The ZDoom system is set up completely different than the way I normally do things, so it's taking some time adjusting to the new system. All of this would've been done before my nap today if I knew what I was doing.
