Apart from the Discussion, Offtopic and other header texts appearing too low (should be 1-2px higher), the Topic/Posts/Last post separators seem kinda weird on hovering. They turn dark. Not really sure if that's a big deal or just me nitpicking. I don't think it's really an issue. Might as well be helpful.

No, you're right. However, I spent like a whole frustrating hour just making it so that it didn't turn completely white (background and all).

How about a theme with desaturated, dark blue instead of the neon blue? Something around #1B2C44.

Let's not overdo it.

I like the effect, but it should be inverted. Dark separators by default, highlight on hover.

Agreed. But I am about ready to eradicate every last mention of "li.row" from existence, at this point. It's seriously frustrating working with phpBB styles. >_<

It's very workable at this point, IMO. I'd be willing to use it as-is. Further tweaks can come later.

Probably a good idea. We don't want to bikeshed the forums to death when there's so many other important things to do. :P

We already have a working theme that fulfills the needs of most. I think I'll stick with v3 because it fixed code block border issues and the likes. I don't mind hover issue.

Agreed. Getting a darker color theme in was necessary, but whatever small glitches are still there, they are not important for now.

Well - if anyone wants to help out, I made the styles public: https://github.com/raa-eruanna/zdoom-styles

Best thing to do is fast-deploy a LAMP/WAMP server. EasyPHP is a great WAMP server. Download phpBB 3.0.14 if you can still get it, set it up, make yourself admin, then chdir into the styles folder on your install and type the following command:

Code: Select all

git checkout https://github.com/raa-eruanna/zdoom-styles.git .
That *should* put the styles directly into the folder where phpBB can access them - then go to your ACP and install them.

This thread gets a lot of posts, maybe we should make a chat group?
