Although it's composed for a final boss, I don't particularly feel that "final level" feeling in this one. Maybe because it actually doesn't finish, but keeps looping endlessly, but not sure:
On the other hand, this one has the "final level" vibe in it. I cannot really tell what that vibe is, it's sort of subconscious feeling. It exists tho.
This probably doesn't really count within its own game, since each one of the twelve "Episodes" of Split/Second features a race against the Elites as the final challenge before going to the next Episode; but I personally feel like that game's "Elite Race Theme" is an insanely epic way to say "this is it, hold nothing back!"
The steady build-up from lap to lap also helps make it feel like each section works for a steady escalation to a dramatic final confrontation.
Just a damned shame that Split/Second sold so poorly that Blackrock closed down...
