While surfing through the web, I've found a really sucking incomplete mod for Hexen called Arcanum, and the following monster was a replacement for the beautiful dragon

I tried "spriting" him. I also did Samantha in Sketchbook style.

i really wich we could, i actually insisted we did that back when i got involved, but that would break compatability with most source ports. you see the player shares sounds with several monsters, including the zombies and imp. it would be very difficult to design unisex sounds alone, not to mention a sound that would fit the inhuman monsters aditionally. now this doesnt mean its completly undoable, but if it where to be done it would have to be a long term goal due to the amount of rework

If it isn't vital that the shared sounds be voices, maybe they could be armour clanking or something instead? It would depend what the sounds are. Do you know the names of the shared sounds? I had a look myself, but I couldn't see anything.
Although that might just be cuz I'm a dumbass.

Yeah, I once tried this mod out a LONG time ago and realized it only replaces sprites. It doesn't have any custom decorate of any kind.

maz i dont really know wich sounds, i was just told by the other freedoom contributors. about your suggestion i think your on to something, now that i think about it the fact that the zombies and player wear helmets could also help, the noises could have an electronic quality to them making them gender ambiguous
maybe somethin slightly like this:

Good idea. That'd also suit the serpentipides too.
Here's a captured Samanthite I done did. I don't think she helps you when you save her, but maybe you get an armour bonus as a reward?
