I know the Cam/Sam pairing is the stuff of legend, but Cameron isn't actually from the Freedoom story, and her sprites are based on the vanilla Doom ones, so I'm wondering if we should perhaps make a replacement Cameron? Maybe a woman who worked in the AGM cafeteria, and when AGM was attacked and the zamanthytes broke out, she was horrified to see what she'd unwittingly been a part of, so she tried to help the fleeing baby zamanthytes, and Samantha was the first one she grabbed. Sam then decided that she was her mother.

sounds good to me. i was thinking about making a freecam (my female player started out that way), but i would like to try and get permission from scalliano senpai first. he of course has a story for cam, but maybe he would let us have an alternate universe cam, kinda like earth 616/ultimate earth in marvel. with one cam living in the doom continuity and the other in freedoom (with a libre sprite sheet of course). ill pm him to see what he says
