LOL, Perhaps! But then I guess it depends on the author. If it was Tormentor, for example, or Jow, or NMN, or Shaviro, or Cyb, or Slayer226, (and many others I don't have time to mention) you could expect some kick-ass work!

Legacy sucks, has always sucked, and will continue to suck, period.

Original quote I once read on the Legacy forum on Newdoom:
I hate ZDoom but I love Legacy
:? :? :?

It seems some don't get it but on the other hand it wouldn't surprise me if that poor bastard was stuck with 1.22...

Hopefully these fps limitations and other bugs will be fixed in the C++ version of Legacy.

The fps uncapping is a very non-trivial thing and I doubt they get it done correctly considering their past track record. It wouldn't surprise me the least if they try to uncap the game ticker to achieve this (which won't work.) The entire game is so locked to the 1/35 seconds tick that the side effects would be huge.

I wish they'd get off their butts and fix the darned savegame corruption so I can play Nimrod (but then, I didn't really see much promise in Nimrod).

I think that has been fixed for 1.42 (if you mean the one related to script spawned monsters.)

That's not a Legacy problem, I don't think. I haven't seen that happen. And I haven't played Nimrod but it's possible that that's just a Nimrod bug, or a Legacy bug that surfaces when Nimrod is being played, for whatever reason.

It also happened with DSV4. And while the team claimed they fixed it, they really just made it less severe - it still happens.
