Me too. In fact, the topic is active enough that I got the "new messages have been posted" twice when trying to post it.Xim wrote:I actually started to write my post before Graf's was posted.

Re: New Developer
@Xim: Well, it still seemed like people were jumping in on it. What with all the posts targeted at Alter right after it and all.
This thread was nice and civil too until it was screwed up, but I'm not going to point names out, though, you know who you are.

I think Nash might be right about the fate of this thread now that I think about it.
Gez: Heh yeah. I actually got that just now because you!
EDIT: And BlazingPhoenix!

Re: New Developer
Come to think of it... I may not have been the first to jump on a donation button, but then I realize that I still have not purchased a full copy of Zeno Clash and I have been meaning to do that so I can finish the storyline. I do have money that I can donate to developers of something I play a hundred times more than a Steam game.Project Dark Fox wrote:If you guys had donation buttons I'd have probably pitched in a little here and there to support development.Graf Zahl wrote:And BTW, do you want to pay me to develop GZDoom?

Re: New Developer
I know that I risk being accused of "jumping on the bandwagon", but some things really tick me off ...
Now, I know that Graf Zahl is informed about ZDoom, and what he can easily do with it's code, because he's been up to his elbows in it for several years now. If he says something is difficult to do with ZDoom's code, I'll tend to believe him, because he's demonstrated that his opinion is worth something.
On the other hand, I don't know you, and I don't know what, if any, familiarity you have with ZDoom's code. Until you can demonstrate such a familiarity, or, better, provide some useable code, then I'm going to assume that your opinion is not informed, and therefore of no value to this discussion.
No, you're not entitled to an opinion. You're entitled to an informed opinion.Alterworldruler wrote:... It's my opinion and i'm entitled to it ...

Re: New Developer
The thread is still not being calm.
Re: New Developer
Should we give it a spanking?
At any rate, I'd actually use the donation button from time to time if there was one.
Also, am I the only one who thought Monk when I saw the "Jazz hands" pic?

I'd spare a few bucks now and again, out of my comission fund.Xaser wrote:At any rate, I'd actually use the donation button from time to time if there was one.
