In the Men in Black movie (the second one I think) There's a ugly dude on a hovering silver disc who copies himself, the crashes, resulting in the Hell knight death sound.
The PSP version on Tenchu - Time of the Assassins, the Bosspit sound comes up when Onikage vanishes in the end movie of Ayame's storyline.
I also heard The Hexen Mage's death sound on America's funniest home videos, during a slow-mo moment, but that was a very long time ago.
These things are everywhere.

The Hell Knight death sounds also features in Courage the Cowardly Dog - the "UnCommon Cold" Episode, when those vanity snake totems are rising, scaring Courage to bits.

The new Strawberry Shortcake used the fireball whoosh sound as a transition noise, as does Second Life's teleport.

I was watching Men in Black I and II on Tuesday, and I forget if it was in I or II but the Hell Knight death sound was used somewhere in there

The rocket launcher sound is based on a much more common version that's related to the imp fireball and is featured almost verbatim in Warcraft 3 when someone fires ball-lightning.
Still, most of it really just boils to a few very common and recognizable sounds that often are staples of cheap television programmes.
