Ok, I did a quick & shitty shading job on the pistol. If it looks better I'll do a better job on it and the rest of the sprites (hoo boy)

EDIT: I'm not only going to improve the shading, I'll try to address some of the points people have brought up; the clip needs to be completely redrawn and the hands are a little awkward. Just don't expect it to look good because I can't draw worth shit.

What's funny is that I'm pretty sure these guys do more damage than standard rockets anyway. I guess they could use the launcher arm to spray napalm everywhere, for when they want to be more thorough than standard fireball sweeping.

Calling it a Djinn would be kind of strange considering that Efreet(s?) are seemingly quite powerful unlike Djinn who are still "different" entities, but not as powerful:
