Sometimes a missile is just a missile, man.

I don't see any giggling. All I was doing is pointing out that posting depictions of nudity could well be against the site host's terms of service, which means Randy would have to answer for it. This issue's come up before so I'm really just trying to look out for people on this one.

(there was a Cockodemon here, too, but that's still kinda pushing the bounds of good taste -mgmt)

Ahhhh yeah!

K, i was busy with other things for awhile, but the second rotation is finally done...
I made a few changes in the waist area of Grethel....
Seems fitting better to me than the previous situation.
I still think she needs a minor change on her back -above-her butt-area.... and her boot
on GRETB7D3 .... but thats for later....
I've got 1 rotation done when she's aiming, but ill wait posting until finished all the aiming and
probably the shooting rotations.
Image
EDIT: grrr, now that i think of of it, the A and the B front needs to be done too the same way as i
did to the C- and D5 rotation... sorry, i forgot.
Consider it being done as soon as Grethel is being released.

Offsets are really going to help this.

Let me get some still frames. (There's quite a bunch as you can see.)
Edit: Here you go. (There are 28 of them, 14 per color. You'll thank me later.)

And yet there's still this odd perspective/alignment issue going on with the gun. At the last segment of the glowing tube, slightly to its left, is a piece of metal that seems to point slightly more to the left than the end of the gun itself.

To the extreme left you have this metal 'support' that tilts even further towards the viewer than the rest of the gun. Then the bit below that support is tilted further diagonally.. The entire gun is quite a mess to read, honestly. Many parts of it going just about every damn where.

Well pardon me sir, I'll promptly repeat that perspective is the worst of my abilities. (And fixing all that would require either redrawing 60% of the gun, or frankenspriting to a very difficult degree.)
And that wasn't my intention (duhh lazy) when I picked it up to tweak it a bit. :o

I like that gun as it is shown in the animation.

EDIT: I dont believe in an always and forever symetry,
so if the coolblades or are they coils? and whatever that is in the middle of the gun,
have to be symetry to the rest that is in the front of gun or has to be symetry to
the rest of the gun's shape just because the creator says so, then alright, you have to
re-align the whole gun.
If not, the gun is okay in my humble opinion.
The gun could be shaped "sphere-like" for all i care.

I however did notice a few area's like that metal support at the rear of the weapon, and the middle metal support that both go over the
spark-tube, those may look abit weird.
It looks like they getting smaller the more you go to the right.
Not really a big deal, and can be fixed easely i think.
But overall,.... nice work :D

Blox, i may be the only one,or one of the few who thinks this way, but i LOVE the weapon very very much.
Keep it up.

Thanks for the poem about symmetry, but the thing about why the gun is as it is, is because it's the Shadow Warrior railgun, except at twice the original resolution.
Of course modified quite a bit, but overall it's still the same.

Also, made a new sphere:

UnTrustable, don't talk BS, please. This isn't about symmetry. The gun can be asymmetrical as fuck but that won't affect it in looking better or worse as far as perspective goes.

That would be incredibly freaky with the additive renderstyle.

Go ahead and use those blues in software without a custom palette though. :?
