in other news, im unsure on how much something like like particle effects could count, but...

i tried my hand at recreating the explosions that the pipe bombs and grenade launcher share in DNF'01

...granted without the same assets (as i cant rip anything from the build yet) but, here's hoping i can soon...

Got bored, made two fonts.

Top one (currently unnamed) is 5x7 without outlines (7x9 with), bottom one (titled BJ_MS5x) is 5x5 mono-spaced.

That top font reminds me of Half-Life's font, the one before the Steam version.

I have been growing increasingly deranged in the creation of a flesh golem.
Still only half way satisfied, and then I have to make the full sprite page.
Still has a lot of cleaning to be done.

Grotesque, lovely and nicely original monster there! Would be hella amazing if this guy appears on either Blood map or Blood-inspired doom mods. I also love that its forelegs are just human legs strollin'

Edited Hexen Mage's death animation just to cope myself from IRL turmoils happening. i always thought him turning into a pool of mana was weird, hence no one ever edited it out.

After seeing his default robe color's red... Well, think i kinda get it.

EDIT: A preview of some sprite sheet i'm working on. Trying to Modernize, Improve and Angle-ify all the existing RoTT Firearms. This certainly will take a butt load of time but soon will upload the full sprite sheet.

A concept I had in my head for a while - finally frankensprited it into half-reality, only 1 fframe with no rotations done thought, kinda busy with projects as of late, credits to Id Software and Monolith Productions (which my dumb ass miscredited as Monolith Entertainment on Twitter)

altered stock, boltpull added, added 'uac' lettering under rear sight, eriance muzzleflash (matches other weapons I'm using it with) altered the 'idle' and 'firing' centred sprites to look less overly tall (twas pretty damn huge before), hands added, altered pickup sprite and new frames for 'bolt-pull' anim implemented...

its better with some tweaks to the offsets, so for those interested/too lazy to cut it all out heres a zip with the sprites as intended:

Also, I must just say, I fell in love with this thing the moment you posted it.
I love how its got visual references to M16, g36, sig sg550, SLR and even an m41a pulserifle yet its STILL obviously the zombieman rifle. obviously thats also down to its rad bright-steel finish!
its an every-gun that gives no allusions to its purpose.
Its like the uac thought whats all the best things from every assaultrifle we can think of and put them all in one bad-ass 90's package!

you and Drpyspy have done an astounding job.
