Not bad Superdave238! i kinda like the style you did for 'em, really cool if you ask me.

Anyways, made some select and deselect animation for my rifle, using it for my doom mod, Sorry for potential spamming. :[

Personally, I think this would look even better with either a blue or red flare, depending on what you're going for. A yellow/orange flare would complement the blue tones well, but the current one seems kind of...muted?

Hey, it's your rifle - no need to apologize, and I'm sorry for trying to shoehorn Directed Energy™ into it. That said...a strongly yellow/orange flare would look beautiful here. Also, that selection animation - very smexy.

If anybody would ever question how would have a rifle for Doom64 might have to look like - I think I might have to know the answer, really.

That reminds me so much of the Sieg Automatic Rifle (a bullpup prototype developed by a US Coast Guard Chief Gunner's Mate, James E. Sieg), albeit with the magazine moved into a conventional layout (ahead of trigger instead of behind). I don't suppose you've got a higher-resolution version of that, maybe at an angle?

Took my sweet time to make the ENORMOUS sheet of Half-Life 1 weapon sprites. Amazing and talented folks made the weapon mod for Black Mesa that replaces a lot of weapon models into custom ones that accurately follows the classic lowpoly style original counterpart had. Since i kinda liked the futuristic-esq design of HL1 weapons, this is absolutely amazing.

Tripmine, Snarks, Hivehand and Satchel are not included because they're still original for some reason.

took the demon eclipse pistol (by eriance) and gave it a bit of a subtle makeover:
de_pistel_balk.png

now instead of the gunmetal grey its the slightly plasticy looking shiny black of original doom's shotguns and pistol.
its only the slide and body thats recoloured, I left the mag and grips as they were so as not to loose too much detail.
also, I ditched the glowy sights as I felt this helped to give it a more classic vibe...
not a big deal I know but I figured I'd share it nonetheless in case its of use to any of you...

Looks amazing! One detail i would correct though is the neck in the 8th frame, since it still has some gray area.

Also,it looks as there is a stray pixel on his boot on frame 6.

Please keep going! I would like to see more. =)
