Finally got a smooth explosion that looks like the original. Added some billowing black smoke as a bonus. It looks real killer with in-game particle emitters on top of it, can't wait to show you guys.

Reminds me a bit of the cluster bomb explosion sprites I'm using right now in my mod. Even more, looks more like the Revenant Rocket explosion sprites (which I used as placeholders for cluster bomb explosion sprites before I had the newer effects).
