P90 magazines (you are correct, they are a polymer :D), are usually dark grey in color, appearing orange/gold when reflecting the color of the ammunition within. The one on the movie box cover was probably red toned as it was reflecting the light of the background. I have worked on some code that allows individual rounds to be displayed, so the magazine will "count down" and give a visual aid when low on ammo. (let me know if this is something you would like to do)

Oddly, it appears to be an unmodified FNp90, not some crazy scifi mishmash like the other weapons in the movie, and never actually appeared in the movie itself.

Gotta admit, that P90 looks pretty better than mine!

Why is the gun smaller than the hand?

Excellent shotgun yukes! Any chances for angled sprites?

A heavily edited Wolfenstein-styled rifleman that carries his rifle with his right hand while running according to German military doctrine, as opposed to carrying it with both hands like every other sprite depicts.

I'm really trying to animate that Chainsaw now. It's not the best thing you ever saw, but... meh.

Nice one! Are you still using the cover photo as base?

Yea, but i used only the upper part (the "tech" sights) and the ammunition color as base. The magazine i drew myself and just painted it black.

Did you ever carry a real rifle in your life? Do you know its weight?

I think what Doomjedi means, is that carrying a rifle with one hand, you could not swing it around like a knife. Sticking a rifle straight onto his fist looks... Odd. It would look better if he held the rifle to his side when running, even with wolfenstein's exaggerated running style.

Finished the animation of the movie's chainsaw. No, it's not beautiful, but at least it saw things:

Interesting. Any idea why doctrine says that? There must be some benefit versus the increased chances of dropping the rifle.

I was reading this article when making the sprites: http://www.dererstezug.com/HandletheRifle.htm
According to the article, every German soldier was trained to carry the rifle with his strong right hand while running, even if he is left-handed. This frees his left hand to swing freely, and allows him to run longer distances more easily.
